About The Runner's Base
Hello and Welcome to my blog dedicated to all things running.
I’m Josh, Founder of The Runner’s Base. I have a long history with running going back to high school track and field. Over the years I have run numerous races as well as running for health and stress relief.
To give you a little background on myself and to you know that I am coming from a place of some expertise, besides having run a lot, I have a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science and worked for the better part of a decade as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS) and a Certified Personal Training and Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM – CPT & CES).
While I am no longer working in that industry for my day job I still have a passion for health and exercise which I want to share with you the broader world of athletes and runners.
